The following information is N.A.O.E. Nagi (aged 19) for the RP

Approximately fourteen years ago, there used to be a family called Di Luca. There was a boy who had for five years by that point been experimented on to the point that he no longer belonged to a single mother or father, merely to the "family", and was thus renamed like you might rename a project when it exceeded expectations: "N.A.O.E." - Nesso Aberrante di Occhi Elettrizzato ("Aberrant Connection with Electric/Charged Eyes", referencing that his power seemed at its height when his eyes lit up red). NAOE was a genetic splicing of many of the most intellectual members of the Di Luca house and then born of one of the Capo's mistresses. He proved so unchallenged by mundane tasks such as arithmetic that his mind sought other ways to entertain itself, thus developing telekinetic powers. For a long time, they thought he was mute, until he started speaking via telepathy to his nursemaid and the lead scientist, but no one else. So, in some sense, he is mute - but he can hear.

Unfortunately, the Di Luca were already doomed to fall...

Approximately twelve years ago, the Di Luca stepped out of the shadows and tried to ally themselves with the Anti-mafia Commission, thinking this would save them by selling out what they knew of the Vescovo (the house Di Luca had been subservient to for years). The young house brought on the wrath of the elder house and, one night, the Vescovo finally descended upon the Di Luca. One lone woman was found along with N.A.O.E. but, as the Vescovo readied to kill her, she offered up the boy for her life. So enraged was the boy that he turned on her and snapped her neck with telekinetic powers. She fell to the ground, dead, and the Vescovo took this as a show of loyalty, bringing the boy and all of his powers into their own house.

Yet again the boy was renamed, this time "Nagi"; a simple show of affection for a new member. For fourteen years his limits were tested, but not as cruelly as by the Di Luca. After all, the elder house had time on their hands; they could afford to not break the boy. Publicly, he shows loyalty to the Vescovo, but privately it is only because Nagi is aware of it being in his best interest to do so - in order to remain alive. He has already, at the tender age of 19, proven himself a capable assassin and bodyguard, but loathes the company of other "common" soldiers, claiming they get in his way. There are days he refuses orders except from one of the Capo famiglia or the Capo di tutti capi himself. In spite of this, Nagi prefers to do whatever is asked of him, but then have as much freedom as he can - thus his apparently 'low rank', which frees him of other responsibilities to the family. In his spare time, he enjoys playing on the computer and learning how to hack, though his skills are limited having never known a computer until he became a Vescovo.

Another thing that fourteen years has not changed is Nagi's inability to retain muscle mass - all of the muscle-building exercises at the Vescovo's disposal have not helped him. However, it has become evident that Nagi also has very little endurance; he can sprint for very brief periods and then collapse. His telekinetic-endurance is better, but not terrific either; he can erupt into a wild display of power, only to become extremely weak after no more than thirty minutes of such strain.

It is rumored that a Vescovo informant in the Antimafia Commission was the one to tip off the Vescovo of the Di Luca's activities; that may be why no formal documents - paper or computer - were ever discovered among the fallen house of Di Luca by the Vescovo "clean-up crew", yet the Antimafia Commission now has its hand in genetic experimentation, while the Vescovo do not, but have NAOE Nagi in their ranks regardless.

NOTES:
Powers: His primary ability is telekinesis, limited by distance to about five miles if it's an object he is familiar with (whether or not he can see it) and about 60 feet otherwise; he has also proven able to pass through walls, though it drains him immensely (no more than 3/day). The telekinetics allow him to glide, not really fly, or hover a few feet off the ground with very limited mobility. As for short-wave telepathy, he has to know the person rather well to be able to connect with their mind over far distances. He also can't "receive" messages except from a true telepath. Normally, he probably uses the 'reach' capabilities to keep in touch with the Capo.

Heritage: In this AU, Nagi is 100% Italian and understands Italian as his native language with a smattering of English; his telepathy 'speaks' in Italian. However, due to not getting a lot of exercise, he is probably the palest Italian you will ever meet, though his dark hair and dark eyes match the traditional "Italian" look pretty well. Due to this being an AU, his superiority complex manifests itself in looking down on "mundanes", yes, but more than that it is non-Vescovo and especially non-Italians, although any Mediterranean-looking ethnicity is favorable over the others.
